Nottinghamshire Police appeals for information after the van door was stolen while it was parked at premises in Bowbridge Lane, Newark.
Police have issued an appeal after a van door was stolen during a break-in at an industrial site.
The side access door was taken from a silver Ford Transit van on the evening of February 11 as it was parked at premises in Bowbridge Lane, Newark.
The offenders gained access through a fence at about 8pm and escaped along a nearby cycle track.
Nottinghamshire Police are asking anyone who may have seen the door or been offered it for sale to come forward.
They are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have been offered the item or any other Transit Van body parts for sale.
PC Rebecca Skinner said: “This is an unusual item to steal and would certainly stick in the mind of anyone who saw it – either on the night it was stolen or in the days since.
“It is likely the door has been offered for sale or maybe even fitted to another vehicle as part of a repair.
“If you suspect you have inadvertently come into contact with it then please come forward and speak to us at the earliest opportunity."
Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting incident 630 of 11 February 2025.
