Woman injured in collision

A female pedestrian was taken to hospital by air ambulance after being in a collision with a van on Barnby Road, Newark, today.

Police were called to the scene at 4pm.

The 46-year-old woman suffered serious injuries.

A 46-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving.

Anyone with information about the incident should contact the police on 101, quoting incident number 587 of March 9.
