Reader’s letter: Wrong price, wrong place

I am genuinely torn over the fate of the Kiddey Stones.

I believe they deserve to be on show and not hidden away. However, the project cost of £80,000 is far too high in this day and age.

And why Castle House? Surely there are much better places in the town centre to show off such marvellous pieces of work.

If we are going to pay £80,000 let’s at least have them where more people will see them. — A. CHAMBERS, Newark.
