Met Office issues yellow weather warning for wind covering Nottinghamshire including Newark

The Met Office has warned windy weather could cause disruption.

A yellow warning for wind, which covers much of the country, has been issued for today (Monday, April 15) lasting until 10pm.

It is likely that journeys on the road and rail could take longer due to the strong winds, with gusts reaching up to 42mph.
