Met Office issue yellow weather warning for Saturday as Storm Dennis to hit East Midlands

The Met Office has issued a weather warning for Saturday as Storm Dennis is set to bring inclement weather to the area.

Following on from the chaos caused by Storm Ciara over the weekend, Storm Dennis will cause very strong winds from 12noon on Saturday until the early hours of Sunday morning.

The Met Office has warned that the strong winds could cause injuries and danger to life from flying debris, damage to buildings, longer journey times or cancellations or public transport and road and bridge closures.
