Vehicle makes off from Newark police twice before located with occupants fast asleep

Occupants of a vehicle made off twice after being spotted by Newark police.

Officers said it was clear that running from police was hard work, as they re-located the vehicle to find the occupants fast asleep.

After flooding the area, officers conducted a search and discovered a quantity of drugs and cash.

Two males were arrested.

Officers said: "The males are catching up on their sleep in custody."
