Newark Tennis Club get mixed results with a win over Trent University before losing to Caunton

Division nine of the men’s district tennis saw Newark Tennis Club’s 2nd team win
60 - 48 against Trent University at home.
John Sampson/Edgars Barvinskis won their games 22-14, Ash Hallam/Rich Hall won 20-16 and Tony Gammage/Greg Eden tied 18-18.
The men’s 3rd team faced a youth squad away at Caunton and were defeated 83-25. Steve Peters/Hari Kolli were defeated by 27-9, Jack Tysoe/Klaus Rieke lost by the same margin while Ged Hazelwood/Stuart Kelly went down 29-7.
