Southwell City and Woodthorpe Park Rangers can both overtake Nottinghamshire Senior League Premier Division leaders Bingham Town
Southwell City can go ahead of Notts Senior League Premier Division leaders Bingham Town after they lost for the first time since the opening day of the season.
After Jake Hardy put Bingham ahead, a Markell Bailey double ensured the points left with Woodthorpe Park Rangers, who moved third.
The Stripes were set to play Keyworth United, but a late decision from the match officials saw the fixture abandoned because of unplayable conditions.
It means Southwell remain second, two points behind Bingham, but with a game in-hand.
Woodthorpe also have the chance to move top, should they win their two games in-hand on Bingham.
In Division One, Radcliffe Olympic were beaten 4-1 by leaders AFC Top Valley. Brett Soiza got Olympic’s consolation.
Lukas Balaz grabbed a hat-trick and Liam Honeyman two goals for Bridgford United in the 7-2 win over Southwell City Reserves.
Kyle Pemberton and Jourdan Blair were also on target for United, Ben Napier and Louis Annable for City.
Gedling Southbank and Kirton Brickworks drew 2-2. Stephen Cox and Daniel Hogg netted for Southbank, Ryan Keeley and Jamie Charlton for the Brickies.
In Division Two, Dave Cyrek scored a last minute penalty to give Cotgrave Reserves all three points in a seven-goal thriller against Bingham Town Reserves.
In an all-NSL tie in the Notts FA Senior Trophy, Robin Hood Colts edged past Beeston 3-2.
