Max Bartle crowned Honda CB500 champion after 16 podiums in one season as brother George Bartle wins newcomer title
Two brothers from Newark have won their respective classes in the same motorbike series.
Max Bartle was crowned Honda CB500 champion after an impressive season with No Limits Racing.
He achieved 16 podiums and took the title with 69 points.
Brother George Bartle, also of No Limits Racing, clinched the newcomer title at the final round.
He finished four points clear of his nearest rival after scoring 18 podiums in his first year in the championship.
The brothers started out racing in British minibikes.
Max ran an SM140cc bike at the age of 14 and in his first year came first in the newcomer group.
He started in the Honda CB500 Championship in 2020.
George rode an SM90cc for two years, followed by a couple of years off, before returning this year in the CB500.
The pair will again race with No Limits Racing next year and would like to thank sponsors CF Construction Ltd and Coastal Building Supplies for their continued support.
