Collingham Football Club invited all footballers to take part in the Stay At Home Challenge
A football club has asked players to take part in a viral kick-ups challenge — and the winner takes home a £25 Amazon voucher.
The Stay At Home Challenge has done the rounds on social media among professional players and Adam Stephenson, the under-14s and under-15s coach at Collingham FC, has asked players from all over the district to submit their own efforts to Collingham’s Facebook account.
The challenge sees players complete as many keep-ups as possible with a toilet roll or football.
A winner of the day will be announced at 7pm every night, while an overall winner will be announced on April 29.
The first winner, announced last night, was Ethan Sullivan (under-15 cougars) with a very impressive 189.
His video can be seen below.
Communication officer, Wendy Shaw, said: “It’s a cracker and shows solidarity in desperate circumstances.”
Competition organiser Stephenson said: “We are all already missing football after a week off and it is a way to keep players busy, and it will give them something to do.”
