Ryan Charlesworth to take the helm at Balderton Cricket Club assisted by Daniel Pinfold after Tim Clipsham stepped down at the end of last season

A new leadership team has been announced at a cricket club after their captain stepped down from his duties at the end of the last season.

Ryan Charlesworth will be the new captain for Balderton Cricket Club after Tim Clipsham took a step back to spend more time with his young family.

Joining Charlesworth will be new vice-captain Daniel Pinfold.

"We’re delighted to confirm that Ryan Charlesworth and Daniel Pinfold will lead our 1st team into our 2024 Premier League two campaign," said a spokesman for the club.

The side are hoping to better last season's result where they finished tenth in the competition, one spot above relegation.
