"There are a lot of clubs around here doing amazing things and we will be competing with them to get good, young players.

"There are plenty of young players and we have spoken to a couple already.

"We want players that want to play and that want to work hard.

"We want to get promoted, otherwise what is the point?

"I can't see a reason why we can't be aiming to achieve that."

"Damo has been around the game for ages," said club chairman Paul Ellison.

"We are excited, we have been talking to him for a couple of months now.

"With Damo on board, we can look at achieving promotion.

"We are looking forward to having him as our manager."
