On Sunday, Charlotte Lissaman, racing for Newark Castle Cycling Club, claimed second place in the under-14s race at Macclesfield Wheelers’ Supacross — an annual event which is part of the North West Cyclocross Association League.

On Monday, Lissaman sisters Florence and Charlotte represented Newark in the Winter Cyclocross Series at Bradford.

Florence finished fourth and was second in the mixed women’s race, which had more than 80 starters.

Charlotte rode in the youth race and was the top under-14s girl.

She finished 53rd overall.
