Newark Alliance final competitors are all decided for this season as the four Nottinghamshire trophies will go ahead in the upcoming weeks





All cup finals for the Newark Alliance have been decided after teams battled it out in four different competitions.

The Duck are through to their first Willie Hall Trophy final which will take place against Hawtonville at Collingham Football Club on Sunday, May 19, (kick-off 2pm).

The Duck defeated Walesby 3-1 in their semi-final after leading 2-0 at half-time.

A brace from Drew Allwood and another goal from Joseph Bilton sealed Walesby fate as The Duck flew into the upcoming final.

Hawtonville defeated Bottesford 3-0 to secure their berth in the final of the WIllie Hall thanks to a brace from Andra Wilson and another goal from Nathan Brettoner.

This Sunday will see Newark Town Sunday Reserves and RHP Reserves contest the final of the Keith Cartledge Memorial Trophy at Collingham Football Club, (kick-off 2pm).

Newark Town defeated AFC Colsterworth 4-1 to secure their spot in the final while RHP Reserves won on penalties against The Three Gables to proceed to the final.

The following Sunday, on May 5, will see the final of the Pat Jepson Memorial Trophy take place (kick-off 2pm).

Bottesford Sunday will take on Skillington Beehive which will be played at Collingham Football Club.

Bottesford defeated Newark Town Sunday 3-1 in the semi-final for their place, while Skillington Beehive defeated Laxton Athletic 3-0 in their semi-final.

Holy Trinity defeated Rose and Crown 2-0 on Sunday to secure their place in the final of the Sam Arnold Memorial Trophy.

Goals in extra-time from Sam Ford and Daniel Oliver sealed it for Marc Harvey’s side.

Their upcoming final opponents in the trophy, Farnsfield Villa defeated RHP 1sts 3-0 in their semi-final.

In league games last Sunday, Walesby defeated Farnsfield 1-0 in the Premier Division.

Division One saw Collingham Sunday win 2-0 over visiting Skillington Beehive.

Newark Town Sunday defeated Holy Trinity Reserves 2-1.

Trent Albion tied 5-5 with Laxton Athletic.

Callam Atkinson top scored with a hat-trick for Laxton.

In the Second Division Newark Town Sunday won 2-1 over The Three Gables.

The Duck Reserves tied 1-1 with AFC Coddington in a closely contested match.
