First start in the UCI cycling for Newark’s Isabel Darvill

Newark’s Isabel Darvill started her 2024 Season riding for her new Team, UCI Registered Continental Team Doltcini-O`Shea.

She started her first race at this level in the 3rd Women Cycling 1.1 Pro Costa de Almeria in Spain.

Darvill finished 78th out of 91 finishers.

The 121km hilly race was held between Campohermoso and Mojocar and was won by Olivia Baril of the UCI World Cup Team, Movistar.

Closer to home, the Leicestershire Cyclocross League event was cancelled.
