Newark cyclists from Nottinghamshire head to Scotland for Cyclocross racing

A pair of the district's top young riders travelled to Scotland for the British Cycling Cyclocross National Championships which were held at Callendar Park, Falkirk last weekend.
On Saturday, Charlie Hoyle racing for Shibden Cycling Club finished 19th out of 46 finishers in the junior men`s championship race.
The following day saw last year`s youth under-14 female champion, Charlotte Lissaman racing for Newark Castle Cycling Club compete in the youth under-16 female race.
Lissaman cracked the top ten as she finished in a creditable ninth position out of 25 finishers.
