Willie Hall action sees dominant wins by RHP, Trent Albion and Walesby




CHRIS SELF’S RHP side warmed up for their upcoming FA Sunday Cup game against Phoenix Top Spot with a dominating win over Bleasby in the Willie Hall Cup.

Self’s team had a comfortable 12-3 win, with Ryan Attwood hitting four.

Ben Sharpe and Leighton Nicholson also both scored braces for RHP.

Holy Trinity scrapped a 1-0 win over FC Curry’s in their Willie Hall fixture as Charlie Gibson’s goal proved to be the difference.

Collingham’s Sunday team won 2-1 against Rose and Crown Reserves, coming back after being down 1-0 at half-time.

Walesby beat Newark’s Sunday side 3-0 thanks to goals from Connor Paine (2) and Joshua Jackson.

After leading 1-0 at half-time, Rutland turned on the goals as they walked away with a 5-1 win over Bramley.

Harry Mathers struck two while Samuel Powell, Baz Fletcher, and Joe Coggins scored one apiece.

Jack Brennan scored the only goal for Bramley.

Skillington beat Witham 2-0 thanks to a brace by Charlie Copley.

Robin Hood Colts defeated Laxton Athletic 3-1, after leading 2-1 at half-time.

Trent Albion fought back from 2-0 down at half -time against Newark FC Sunday to win 8-3.

Declan Cill scored a late consolation for AFC Coddington in their 2-1 defeat to Farnsfield Villa.

Davy Atkins and Daniel Camara scored for Farnsfield.
