Newark Striders race in Fotheringhay, Hull and Grimsthorpe

Newark Striders headed to Fotheringhay, Hull and Grimsthorpe at the weekend.

Saturday saw Tom Banks competing in the Nene Valley Trails ten-mile race at Fotheringhay, finishing fifth in a time of 1hour 25mins 11secs.

The next day, there was another sterling performance from Sarah Fox-Clark, who set a second 10K personal best in as many weeks.

Sarah completed the Hull 10k in 48-49 ­— five seconds faster than her performance at Grimsby last week.

Mark Winter, Steven Padgett and Niceeta Padgett (pictured) took on the 10K mixed terrain Grimsthorpe Gallop.

Mark completed the run in 46-56, followed by Niceeta in 56-04 after she stopped to help another runner, and 56-10 for Steve.
