Newark Rugby Club gearing up for new season with pre-season campaign

The pre-season programme starts this Saturday for an area rugby club.

An inter-club training match will take place at Kelham Road, (kick-off 3pm) as Newark Rugby Club gear up in preparation for the season.

On Saturday August 19, the RAF Hawks will provide the opposition at Kelham Road for a game that will take place between 2pm and 4pm.

The final pre-season match comes on Thursday, August 24 when Boston are the visitors for a training night match, (kick-off 7.30pm).

Training for the senior men resumes every Tuesday and Thursday night this month, starting at 7.30pm.

The club said that all players are welcome.

All are welcome to the matches with free entry and bar open.
