Carl Greaves fighters do well at the Midland Boxing Awards in Cannock with commonwealth champion Emma Dolan winning best fight against Nicola Dolan

It was a successful day for Carl Greaves’ boxing stable at the annual Midlands area BBBofC boxing awards lunch held in Cannock.

Greaves’ Commonwealth champion Emma Dolan and her opponent Nicola Hopewell from Worksop won fight of the year for their performance in October last year.

Dolan won the bout via unanimous decision to retain the title she won against Halima Vunjabei.

Leicester fighter Sean Bruce and Tyler Rivers were both nominated for prospect of the year.

Greaves’ fighter Ben Norman received a special mention award for boxing for the IBO intercontinental and English title in 2023.

Levi Giles who also operates under Greaves received a recognition award for winning the Commonwealth silver belt last year.

Greaves said he was proud of all of his fighter’s accomplishments.

The event raised money for charity including £500 for Reverse Rett, a charity that helps children who suffer from Rett Syndrome and their familes.
