Newark and Sherwood United, Lincoln United, Southwell City and Newark Town to feature on double bill football ground hopper Easter Monday spectacular as all four clubs from the United Counties League will compete at discounted prices

After a successful groundhoppers day in July last year, clubs across the area have come together to showcase a double feature ground hoping afternoon on Easter Monday (April 1).

The day will showcase four teams from across the district in two games where attendees can have a good day out watching grassroots football at a discounted price of just £8 per adult and £6 for concessions. .

The Double Derby Ground Hop event will start with United Counties League Premier Division North side Newark and Sherwood United up against visiting Lincoln United at Station Road, Collingham.

The step five teams will kick off at 12.30pm before football fans can travel after to watch Southwell City host Newark Town at Brinkley in their United Counties League Division One clash (kick-off 4pm).

During the last groundhopper event, crowds of around 500 were present across all games and the clubs are hoping that similar numbers will attend the upcoming double header.
