JSX Performance to run half term football clinic in Newark, Nottinghamshire

A football camp will teach children aged between seven and 14-years-of-age football skills and athletic development.

The camp will occur on February 14 and will take place at Newark Academy, London Road.

The camp will be conducted indoors by DBS-checked, qualified coaches, and the camp will be restricted to 20 participants.

Organiser Joe Sewell has a degree in sports and exercise science.

He has also spent time working at Manchester City and Crewe Alexandra academies.

"We provide an action-packed day of fun football activity for the children involved," said Sewell.

"The day not only provides fun but we also look to educate and develop footballing ability by introducing subtle skills that can help to rapidly elevate their performance.

"It is a great opportunity for youngsters to get away from their screens, make new friends and improve their football.

"More importantly, they will have a lot of fun at the camp."

Sewell said that group sizes are purposely kept small so that every participant can get the focus and attention needed to improve.

"We like to get to know the players as young people and tap into what makes them who they are," said Sewell.

"This allows us to adapt our approach when giving them information to ensure all players have an equal opportunity to learn and develop."
