Harworth Colliery 0–5 Newark Town ­— Daryl Price strikes four as Town hold 12-point gap over Dinnington Town at the top of the Central Midlands League North Division

Without doubt this was a significant result as Town took full advantage of their scoring opportunities against third-placed Harworth to maintain their 12-point advantage at the top of the table. Daryl Price’s four goals will be the big talking point but this was a real team performance in which everyone played their part, writes Richard Lane.

Town’s starting line-up showed just two changes from the side that won at Renishaw with Tyler Martin and Jonny Wiles replacing Steve Carty and Jack Durkin.

Harworth had an early scare when following a right wing corner the ball was headed on to the top of the bar by a defender.
