LEARN MOREIt was a great week for bowls across the Newark district as Flowserve A beat Newark Northern in the final of the Hickman Cup, which was hosted by Newark Town Bowls Club.
In division one, Lowdham continued their winning run by beating league leaders Flowserve A in their final league game of the season.
Flowserve A are still at the top of the table with a game in hand.
Dark horse's Southwell A, lying in the third spot, suffered defeats by both Balderton and Lowdham.
In division two Collingham took all seven points against Sherwood, while both Newark Town and the Conservative Club had away wins at Flowserve B and Southwell B respectively.
The final of the Millennium Cup is due to be played at North Scarle B. C. tomorrow evening, and Flowserve A are awaiting the winners of the semi-final between Newark Northern and North Scarle.
