Willie Hall Cup : Holders draw lower-league opposition

Holy Trinity will be looking to pull off a surprise after being drawn against Newark Town in the semi-final of the Willie Hall Cup.

The First Division side will take on holders Newark Town at a neutral venue on April 8 after the Newark Alliance semi-final draws were made.

Fellow First Division side Witham Wanderers, who have twice caused upsets against higher-division opposition, will take on Barkestone-le-Vale, of the Premier Division, in the other semi-final.

In the Sam Arnold Memorial Trophy, holders Newark Flowserve have been drawn at home to Grove 16.

Wheatsheaf United will host RHP Social in the other tie.

Both games are due to be played place on March 25.

The second leg of the Pat Jepson Memorial Trophy quarter-finals were postponed at the weekend because to the heavy snow.

They will now take place this weekend.

The winners of Newark Cavaliers and Newark Flowserve Reserves will take on Collingham or Knowhow United.

Holy Trinity or Witham Wanderers host Old Magnusians or Walesby.

Those matches are to be played on March 18.

In the semi-finals of the Keith Cartledge Memorial Trophy, league leaders Robin Hood face a difficult home tie against Grove 16 Reserves.

Sutton-on-Trent play host to Fernwood in the other last-four encounter.

They will be played this weekend.
