Southwell Golf Club ladies’ captain Jennifer Hubbard hits hole in one

It was a return to action in style for ladies’ captain Jennifer Hubbard.

Hubbard, of Southwell Golf Club, returned from the lockdown break in emphatic fashion as she hit a once-in-a-lifetime shot.

Playing in a Ladies Stableford competition, Hubbard hit a perfect rescue club at the Par 3 12th hole and was thrilled to see the ball end up in the hole for her first ever hole in one.

Despite the impressive 12th hole performance, the event was won by the ladies vice captain, Riemie Coulson, with a score of 34 points.
