FA Vase third round draw: Newark Town v Daventry Town
Newark Town have been given home advantage in the draw for the last 64 of the FA Vase.
The Blues progressed to round three after winning on penalties against Midland Football League Lichfield City on Saturday following a 1-1 draw.
Premier Division North Newark will now host fellow United Counties League side Daventry Town.
Daventry are sixth in Premier Division South and reached this stage after winning 1-0 at home to Staveley Miners Welfare in the second round.
It’s Newark’s best-ever run in the competition. They had previously reached the first round in 2005 and 2008.
Ties are due to be played on Saturday, December 7 with winning teams earning £1,125 in prize money and losing sides collecting £350.
