Newark and Sherwood United manager Romaine Graham talks about his delight after his side won 2-0 against Pinchbeck United in the United Counties League Premier Division North




“I am delighted,” said Newark and Sherwood United manager Romaine Graham after their 2-0 win against Pinchbeck United on Tuesday (February 20).

“We knew what to expect, it was a massive game for both teams.

“It was a must not lose match for us.

“I knew that once we settled into it then we would go onto win comfortably.

“Myself and the assistant manager Tristian kept encouraging the team to get the ball down and do the right things.

“You could see that after we came through the difficult period of the game and settled down, it just shows what we can do.”

Graham added that he was looking forward to three more points against Deeping Rangers this weekend when they host the side at Station Road on Saturday, (kick-off 3pm).
