Max Jemson, son of Nottingham Forest favourite Nigel, buzzing to get started with new club Newark and Sherwood United

Recent Newark and Sherwood United FC recruit Max Jemson said he is "buzzing to get started" as he looks to establish himself in his new team.

Described by Doncaster FC, his former club, as a tall and commanding centre back, Jemson was part of their under 18 side, before being brought over from Newark Town FC.

He played under his current manager Nathan Arnold while at the club and subsequently is well known to most of the Highwaymen coaching staff.

He is the son of former professional footballer, Nigel Jemson who played at Nottingham Forest and Sheffield Wednesday.

Max has previously played for step five club Sleaford Town and he could potentially play against them this upcoming season, in the UCL Premier North division.
