Newark face AFC Rushden & Diamonds in FA Cup first qualifying round
Newark have been drawn against a step three side in the FA Cup first qualifying round.
The fixture, against AFC Rushden & Diamonds, is to be played the week commencing Monday, September 21.
A win would see Newark scoop £2,250 in prize money.
Newark have already played two matches in this year's competition — winning 4-0 on both occasions.
In the extra preliminary round, Danny Meadows, Liam King, Rashaan Francis and an own goal forced by Kevin Bastos saw Newark cruise past Deeping Rangers in front of a capacity crowd at Lowfields.
While on Saturday, in the preliminary round, Bastos, Ben Hutchinson, Craig Westcarr and captain Nathan Stainfield were on target in the win at Maltby Main.
