Elliot King and Ashley Dixon make Newark FC return for 2021-22 campaign
Newark FC have announced two new signings to help bolster their attack.
Elliot King, who first joined the club in 2016-17 during their spell in the Notts Senior League Premier Division, has resigned.
The striker has 99 club goals to his name, including a stunning 53 goals in 38 league games in the 2017-18 promotion winning campaign.
"We are delighted to once again secure the signing of Newark's highest goal scorer in recent history," said joint manager Craig Roche.
"Kingy is liked among players, staff and supporters and truly is one of our own.
"Elliot picked up an injury in preseason which will see him miss the start of the season, but we all wish him a speedy recovery, and hope he gets back on track to making it past 100 goals."
The club also announced the return of Ashley Dixon, who also featured during the club's time in the Notts Senior League.
"Ashley's pace will be a great asset to the football club during the coming season," said Roche.
