Newark Rugby Club hoping games will be played at home following flooding on their pitches in Nottinghamshire
The aftermath of Storm Babet is still having some effect on sports in the area.
Ollerton 1st's rugby game against Bakewell Mannerians was postponed due to the away team not being safely able to get to Ollerton.
Ollerton 2nds played host to top-of-the-league Belper 2nds and won 32 - 24 in a good game.
Tries for Ollerton were scored by their number eight and Man of the Match Scott Gretton, with Centres Ben Kelly and Jonny Branna also crossing the line.
Fly Half Scott Whitworth had a great day with two tries, two conversions, and a penalty.
Newark Rugby Club’s 1st team should be back in action this Saturday (Nov 4) at Kelham Road after flood water left the pitches unplayable last week.
Newark are scheduled to host Tamworth, (kick-off 2.15pm) in a return to league action following a defeat at leaders Lichfield two weeks ago, where they lost 33-10.
The pitches are now recovering and the 1st team match is expected to go ahead.
Newark 2nds, who lost narrowly to Ashbourne in their last match, 22-19 will travel to Ashfield.
The club’s Colts team are also away in a National Cup clash at Doncaster on Saturday.
Bingham Rugby Club narrowly lost 19-15 at home to Notts Moderns.
They will now travel to Notts Unity on Saturday (kick-off 2.15pm).
Southwell Rugby Club will take on Nuneaton at home on Saturday after losing 36-12 on the weekend against Loughborough.
