First team manager Luke Parsons steps down from role at Newark Town

Luke Parsons has announced his departure from Newark Town.

Parsons, first team player-manager at Town, left the role due to personal reasons.

A spokesperson for the club said: “Whilst this is a sad day for the club as we bid farewell to Luke, under his strong leadership and that of assistant manager, Tony Joynes, there is no disputing that our first team has gained huge pace locally and secured a positive position for the upcoming 2021/22 season.
