Rubbles move to top spot
The Rubbles took over the leadership of the top flight of the Newark and District Long Alley Skittles League following their narrow 3-2 away win at the Rose and Crown Aces.
But at the other end of the First Division the Rose and Crown slipped down to second from bottom after losing by the same scoreline the following night against the Millers.
RHP Sports and Social Club lost their unbeaten tag when they went down 3-2 at home against the Grey Horse, while the Castle and Falcon Strays moved into second place in the league with a 4-1 home win against Staythorpe Lads who slipped to third.
Muskham Ferry’s miserable run continued with a 5-0 defeat at the Packhorse (Beckingham).
In Division Two it’s Sawmill now lead the way, followed by the Trappers who beat King Billy Crowns 3-2 away.
Both of the previously unbeaten teams in Division Three went down 3-2, with RHP B losing at Collingham FC while Bromley Arms went down at the Railway Club.
