Alan Bishop showed his versatility by switching three different boat types for each of the three races in the latest round of Girton Sailing Club’s Autumn series.

Eleven eager Helms took to the water for the first race and another two joined in for the two later sessions.

Bishop recorded two firsts and a second in a Streaker, a Supernova (an emphatic win) and then his own familiar Solo.

Steve Bishop kept the honours in the family finishing second overall on the day.

Third was Paul Jago who also did a bit of boat swapping but not fairing quite as well as Alan.

The consistent Joanne Daubney was fourth in her Supernova while another of the experimenters Ed Johnson came in fifth.

Jo Daubney retains her lead at the top in the series.
