A spirited fightback from a home side in their league cup competition quarter-final was not enough to get them through as they ultimately lost on penalties.
RHP welcomed 60 spectators to the YMCA Activity Village as they hosted Worksop Town Reserves in the clash.
With the hosts trailling 2-0 at half-time, Garry Attwood and Danny Purves’ side rallied for the score to end up 3-3 at the final whistle.
Goals for RHP came in the way of a brace to Sebastian Headley and a single goal to Sol Miller.
However, Worksop would claim the victory as they converted three from the spot to RHP’s zero in the penalty shoot out.
RHP currently sit in fifth place in the Macron Store Nottingham Division 1 East competition.
