York Sprint Triathlon features racers from the Newark Triathlon Club with Jem Lawson winning age group and Sharon Clee coming third

It was a good showing at the York Sprint Triathlon for the Newark Triathlon Club with three of its racers competing in the race.

Husband and wife team Robin and Sharon Clee joined Jem Lawson as they headed north for the event.

All three of the Newark triathletes finished in the top ten of their age groups.

Sharon Clee came third in her age group of 45-49 in the women’s race and finished an impressive 14th overall.

Robin Clee finished sixth in his 45-49 age division and 17th overall.

Jem Lawson won his age group in the 70-74 age group and came 137 out of a total field of 197.

“It was a great day racing and we all enjoyed ourselves,” said Lawson.
