Newark Town captain puts out a call to rally the troops before tomorrow’s game against Dunkirk





An impassioned plea has been announced by the captain of a football team who will be contesting a play-off as they continue to push for promotion.

The Blues will take on visitors Dunkirk in tomorrow’s (Saturday, April 27) and the match will kick off at 3pm at the Newark YMCA.
The club know that a good sized crowd could make all of the difference in the match.

“Please, please, please come down and support us on Saturday,” said Newark Town captain Lewis Chambers.
“We are on your doorstep, we are absolutely buzzing to be here.

“We have worked so hard to get here, the fans have been great all season.

“We would love as many people down as possible.

“Tell your families, tell your mates, let’s get everybody there to support the lads.

“Let’s get over the line.
