Colts remain undefeated at Newark Rugby Club as the 1sts look to get back to winning ways against Matlock at home on Saturday




A team will be looking to get back to their winning ways after suffering a 52-0 defeat in their last run out on the paddock.

Newark Rugby Club 1sts will host Matlock this Saturday (kick-off 3pm) and will be hoping to turn things around after the loss to West Bridgford.

Overall, the 1sts are presently seventh in their league, Regional Two North Midlands.

The club's 2nd team will travel to Notts Casuals for their match.

The shining light at the club is the Colts team who remain undefeated after a 69-19 win over Nottingham Corsairs at home.

They were due to face Doncaster in the National Colts Cup last weekend but that match was postponed and has now been re-arranged for Saturday, November 4.

The Colts will face Mansfield away tomorrow night (Friday) as they hope to build on their undefeated streak of five games.

Southwell's 1st team will be back in action on Saturday after having a break last weekend.

The side will host Market Rasen and Louth at home with the kick-off to be confirmed in the Counties One Midlands East (North) fixture.

The club's 2nd team will travel to Keyworth for their Saturday match (kick-off now 2.15pm).

The Bandits will also be at Keyworth for an earlier kick-off against the home side's 2nd team (kick-off 2.15pm).

Bingham Rugby Club dominated in their 50-5 trashing of Casuals 2nds.

The side managed to secure a bonus point for achieving such a wide lead.

The squad will now travel to Mansfield to take on their undefeated 2nds side on Saturday (kick-off 3pm).
