Newark Town’s under-14’s girls’ teams continue to kick goals on and off the football pitch

The girl’s section at Newark Town Football Club continues to score and achieve goals with their under-14 teams being especially successful.

The Saturday Saxons and Sunday sides have both had unbelievable seasons.

In just their second season together, the Saxons are Lincolnshire and Ladies under-14 South League champions.

They are now awaiting their Lincs Cup semi-final against Lincoln United.

The team have played 10 games with 9 wins and a 5-4 loss against Boston United.

The majority of the girls play for both teams and have achieved two league titles and also have the added potential to win two cups this season.

Coaches Dom King, Dan Oliver, Sam Atkins and Sam Oliver have dedicated a lot of time to helping the girls succeed on and off the pitch.

“I would like to thank the girls for their efforts and commitment this year.

“Thank you to all the parents for your commitment, the travelling we have done and your constant support to us all.

“The girls are the ones ultimately going out there to do the business but this is a collective effort from everyone involved with the set up this year.”
