Newark AC’s Trish Jackman equals Cloe Hubbard’s club record at Telford 10k

Two Newark AC members were racing at the highly-competitive Telford 10k, which also hosted the England 10k Championships, on Sunday.

It is generally a flat two-lap traffic-free, well-sheltered tarmac course using Telford Town Park, as well as the Silkin Way.

Trish Jackman came 17th in the ladies' race. She ran a new personal best of 34min 35sec, knocking 1min 45sec off her previous best and equalling Cloe Hubbard’s club record.

For the men, Ed Buck also had a solid run to come 34th with a time of 29.45.
