Newark Northern move top of Division One of Newark and District Bowls League
A fourth victory in a row moved Newark Northern to the top of Division One of the Newark and District Bowls League.
The victory puts the side on 23 points, having played four games.
Behind them – having played two games more – are Lowdham on 21 points and Southwell A on 20.5 points from five games.
Completing the Division One table are Balderton on 18 points and Flowserve on 1.5.
In Division Two, Newark Town B made it six wins out of of six and are now 18 points clear of Belvedere in second place, who have also played six games.
Collingham are in third place on 19 points from five games followed by Sherwood on 11 points from six matches and Southwell B with one point from five games.
In the Millennium Cup, Lowdham lost at home to Newark Northern.
They will now play Balderton in the semi-final, with Flowserve awaiting the winners in the final.
In the Hickman Cup, Newark Town are awaiting the winners of the semi-final between Lowdham and Balderton.
