Cyclist Isabel Darvill wins race at the Active Fakenham Easter Festival after a strong sprint finish





Elite cyclist Isabel Darvill scored her first win of the season proving victorious in the women’s E/1/2/3 Criterium at the Active Fakenham Easter Festival on Sunday (March 31).

Newark`s Darvill navigated very wet and cold conditions which saw her take the race in a strong sprint finish.

Darvill has now travelled to Belgium where she competed in the fourth Scheldeprijs Vrouwen Elite Women`s Classic yesterday (Wednesday) with her UCI Continental Team, Doltcini-O`Shea.

She came up against some of the World`s highest ranked Female Professional Cyclists in the contest on a 130.5 km reasonably flat course at Schoten.

Jack Levick of The Rose Race Team will ride in the Darlington Cycling Club`s 25 mile time trial on Sunday, April 7.
