Coddington & Winthorpe under-13s crowned joint-winners of Newark and District Youth Cricket League




An under-13s cricket club have been awarded with the league title after finishing joint-top.

The Newark and District Youth Cricket league announced a shared title for Coddington & Winthorpe and Kinoulton after finishing the season with an identical record.

“It was an outstanding performance by the team, who only have an average age of 11 years and two months, but still managed to get victories over older under-13 teams,” said coach Lambert Colin.

He said he believed the win will serve his team well for future seasons.
