Also joining them will be Ravenshead Swing Band, with whom Mansfield have enjoyed many collaborative concerts.

This will be the biggest male voice festival in Nottinghamshire in 2024 and will include classic male voice pieces, hymns and modern songs and by way of contrast the foot tapping swing band sound. It is sure to be a great evening of entertainment.

The concert will be raising money for Hetty's in Mansfield and the Nottinghamshire Blood Bikes.

Tickets costing £20 are available from www.mansfieldmvc.co.uk

The next Friday Lunchtime Concert takes place a week tomorrow at the minster when The Eric Thiman Singers (Caterham School) provides the music.

It takes place in the quire from 1.30pm to 2.15pm.

Admission to this concert is free but there is a retiring collection after the concert for the Minster’s Milo Chorister Fund which helps support the Cathedral Chorister Programme.
