The sculpture is making significant progress thanks to the help of fundraisers and businesses offering work free of charge.

Once finished it will be installed on the border of Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire to commemorate the airmen and women that served in the region during the second world war.

The RHP soul event will feature DJ sets from; Shona and Dawn, Fret Cook, Kev Draper, Geoff Stevens, Shoey, Sam, Kid Curry and Dean Anderson.

Tickets to the event are £5, available on the door.
