Artwork on show

The 14th open exhibition at Thoresby Gallery, near Edwinstowe, has begun.

Artists from the area sent in 250 pictures from which a panel of judges selected 45 of the best.

The paintings, photographs, drawings, and artists’ prints are on show until October 7.

Curator Cynthia Harrison said: “This is a great chance to buy original art at affordable prices. Come and see what our local talent has to offer as I think you will be pleasantly surprised. There‘s even a piece made from beach combings.”
