Sixth Bingham Festival deemed a success

The sixth Bingham festival, B Fest for short - went off without a hitch on Saturday.

A crowd of around 2200 people enjoyed acts as diverse as Mercury - A tribute to Queen and Ska band - The Moderators.
"The event went amazing, we had some great acts," said volunteer Mark Boyes.

"The organisers of the event, Elizabeth and Graham Hutchinson did a great job, ensuring that everything ran smoothly."

The event last ran in 2019 due to covid and was at capacity on Saturday as people returned to the festival.

Alongside the musical entertainment, punters also had access to food and a full bar.

"Dave Farrely was in charge of running the bar.

"The volunteers who worked the bar were very efficient, you could see everyone grafting away.

"No one had to wait very long for a drink," said Boyes.

In line with recent years, setting up was done on Friday, the event was held on Saturday and the packing up happening on Sunday. The event was entirely staffed by dedicated volunteers.

B Fest is currently planned to run next year and the headline act has already been booked.

This will be announced by the organisers in due course.
