Back on road

Eighties heartthrob Nik Kershaw is back and takes to the stage at The Rescue Rooms, Nottingham, on Thursday (Feb 18) at 7.30pm.
Nik, pictured, who was born in Bristol and was a civil servant for three years, signed with MCA Records in 1983 and released his debut album, Human Racing, in 1984, to chart success. This was followed by The Riddle.
Later he began songwriting for other people and penned the number one hit, The One And Only for Chesney Hawkes.
