Beat the Streets music festival returns to Nottingham in aid of Framework
Venues across Nottingham are to be filled with live music, all in aid of a homelessness charity.
Beat the Streets 2025 will take place in venues including Rock City, Rescue Rooms, The Bodega, Stealth and Rough Trade, on Sunday, January 26.
The festival, first launched in 2018, raises awareness and funds for Framework — a charity which works to improve the lives of homeless people in Nottingham.
So far, the event has helped support the employment of specially trained mental health workers, kept Framework’s winter shelter open through covid-19 and helped to fund custom-built accommodation for vulnerable service users, with the aim of offering wrap around support to rough sleepers with complex needs.
Beat the streets has become a well-established date in the city’s entertainment calendar, and typically features many artists from Nottingham and the East Midlands.
More than 30 artists have already been announced in the line-up, including Airport Dad, Evil Scarecrow, Headsticks, James Gooch, Lydia Brooks, Sleep in Motion, The Publics, and more.
All proceeds from tickets, bar sales, and merchandise go directly towards improving the lives of homeless people in Nottingham.
